Danube Pond and Farr Lake are located in the Innsbruck neighborhood. Danube Pond is a collection of small backyard ponds that drains to Farr Lake. In 2021, the City completed a pond dredging project to clean the Danube ponds in your neighborhood as a part of a phase 1 of 2 project. Currently, the City is implementing the next phase of the project. The City completed a stormwater analysis for this area and will be replacing storm structures with hydrodynamic separators. Each hydrodynamic separator will help capture sediment and debris from entering into the ponds and Farr Lake.

The City has also identify 52nd Avenue as another location for a hydrodynamic separator. The storm runoff from 52nd Avenue drains into Sullivan Lake.

Current Project Update

September 27th
This week the contractor mobilized onsite, installed traffic and erosion control and began removal and installation of the drainage structures. They completed the removal and installation of the drainage structures at 1420 West Danube Road and 5497 East Danube Road.
