Project Background

The City of Fridley and Anoka County conducted a comprehensive evaluation of roadway alternatives for CSAH 6 (Mississippi Street). The main goals of this study were to identify necessary roadway improvements that are compatible with local and regional needs, and to provide safe, efficient, and reliable mobility for all users of the roadway. More information can be found on the Anoka County Project Website. The County will be implementing portions of the study overtime dependent on funding availability.

Upcoming Projects

Anoka County received grant funding to construct a mini-roundabout at the intersection of Mississippi Street and Old Central Avenue. Construction is anticipated for 2024. More information can be found on the Anoka County Project Website.
