2023 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project The 2023 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project includes the installation of approximately 3.2 miles of sanitary sewer main liner throughout the City.
2024 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project The 2024 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project includes the installation of approximately 2.0 miles of sanitary sewer main liner throughout the City. Trenchless cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners are utilized as a cost effective and less intrusive method to address root intrusion and prevent groundwater infiltration within the City’s sanitary sewer collection system.
2024 Street Rehabilitation Project The 2024 Street Rehabilitation Project includes pavement and utility improvements across approximately 1.2 miles of streets in four distinct project areas throughout the City. 2025 Street Rehabilitation Project The 2025 Street Rehabilitation Project includes concrete pavement rehabilitation and miscellaneous utility improvements across approximately 0.86 miles of streets located in the North Innsbruck Neighborhood of Fridley.
53rd Avenue Trail and Walk Improvements Project This project will provide a trail and walk connection on 53rd Avenue from Main Street to Monroe Street (Near Trunk Highway 65).
61st Avenue Parklet Project Construction of a Multi-Modal Transit Hub, or Parklet, is underway at the northeast corner of 61st Ave NE and University Ave NE and will continue through June 2024.
73rd Avenue Corridor Study Project The City of Fridley is currently working on a corridor study for 73rd Avenue from University Avenue to Central Avenue prior to the future street rehabilitation project slated for construction in 2026.
Annual Street Maintenance Project The City of Fridley’s 2024 Annual Street Maintenance Project will include 2 miles of crack sealing and 0.7 mile of seal coating.
