Submit a Tip
The Fridley Police Division offers the tip411 system for the public to submit anonymous tips by sending a secure message through a free app, by text or online.
Your tips are truly anonymous. Any identification information (phone numbers, IP addresses, etc.) are not recorded and cannot be accessed under any circumstances. The tipster’s IP address and other identifying information are never retained by the third-party vendor that manages the program. Each tip is assigned a unique identification number, but the tipster’s identity is not collected. Identifying information is not available to law enforcement via subpoena or search warrant, because it is never recorded.

Download the free Fridley PD app to submit anonymous tips from your smartphone! Through this method, officers are able to respond to your tip to ask additional questions. Any identification information related to your personal device won't be recorded and cannot be accessed.

Send an Anonymous Text
Send a completely anonymous text to 847411. Type the keyword FRIDLEY, add a space, type your tip and hit send. This is an additional method where police can respond to your tip to ask additional questions. However, your number or any other identification will not be recorded or able to be accessed.
Note: The Fridley Police Division encourages you to use the app or text in your app to allow for anonymous, two-way communication. You can ask questions and they can follow up with additional information they may need. All your identification information remains anonymous and is not recorded or able to be accessed in any way.
