Fridley is committed to creating and preserving a community of beauty, access and encouraging healthy living. Become one with nature as the three miles of hiking trails within Springbrook Nature Center bring you closer to birds and deer or enjoy a breathtaking bike ride along the Mississippi River Trail. The City of Fridley is home to 39 neighborhood parks, three Anoka County parks, seven public school facilities and two Regional Trails (Rice Creek West Regional Trail and Mississippi River Trail).
Fridley's city parks boast amenities such as baseball, football and soccer fields; softball diamonds; basketball and tennis courts; outdoor skating rinks; playgrounds; and picnic shelters. Explore this interactive map to find the right park for your activity!
Fridley community members have been telling us our city parks need help. The City of Fridley listened. Starting in 2019, the City undertook a community-driven comprehensive park system improvement planning process known as “Finding Your Fun in Fridley.” Learn more about the Park System Improvement Plan on our project webpage!
