Notice of Local Board of Appeals and Equalization Meeting
Published on March 21, 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization (LBAE) for the City of Fridley shall meet on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Fridley Civic Campus. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the City Assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made. This may affect your 2025 property taxes.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact the City Assessor at 763-572-3536 or 763-572-3537 to discuss your concerns. Written appeals are due to the City Assessor by 4:30 p.m. on April 8, 2024. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with the City Assessor, you may appear before the LBAE. The LBAE shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct them if needed. Generally, an appearance before the LBAE is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the Anoka County Board of Appeal and Equalization.
