Notice of Filing for 2024 Municipal Election

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Minnesota Statute § 204B.33, that a General Election will be held in Fridley, Minnesota on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 for the purpose of electing candidates for the offices of Mayor and Councilmember-at-Large.

The filing period for these offices begins at 8 a.m. on May 21 and ends at 5 p.m. on June 4. Candidates for these offices must file with the City Clerk at the Fridley Civic Campus, 7071 University Avenue N.E., Fridley, MN, 55432.

A Nomination Petition and candidate information may be obtained from the City’s website at FridleyMN.gov/elections or in person at 7071 University Avenue N.E., Fridley, MN, 55432. If a candidate wishes to withdraw, the Notice of Withdrawal must be received, in writing, by the City Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on June 2.
