2020 Election

2020 will see three elections: the Presidential Nominating Primary (March 3, 2020), the Regular Primary (August 11, 2020) and the General Election (November 3, 2020).

Minnesota has not held a Presidential Nominating Primary since 1992. More information on the Presidential Nominating Primary may be found at the Minnesota Secretary of State’s web site. [https://www.sos.state.mn.us/elections-voting/how-elections-work/presidential-primary/]

Early voting for each election begins 46 days prior to Election Day. You may vote at the Fridley Civic Campus, or request an Absentee Ballot be mailed to your home. More information on absentee voting may be found by visiting our Absentee Ballots page.

The City of Fridley will have offices on the November 2020 ballot: The offices of Mayor and Councilmember-at-Large.
